Éire is an ongoing project that explores the ancient mythologies of the Irish countryside in conversation with the inherent femininity of the natural landscape.
Psychogeography is the way in which specific geographic landscapes intangibly shape the lives of those who live upon them.
Éire is my way of understanding how the histories of this small area on the Southeastern coast of Ireland carries specific mythologies (selkies, Tuatha Dé Danann, Tír na nÓg, and changelings being ones that I specifically reference when photographing).
